I’m Sunny, a Winnipeg photographer, mom of three boys, crazy dog lady, lover of the Manitoba prairies, and the photographer behind Sunny S-H Photography. I specialize in newborn, maternity, baby, family, pet, and studio portrait photography in Winnipeg, creating photographs that feel both beautifully polished and genuinely personal. For newborn photography, I’m known for calm, carefully posed studio sessions and timeless images that capture all those tiny details you never want to forget. I’ve spent years working with newborns and families, and I understand that having your baby photographed can feel a little overwhelming—especially for first-time parents. My goal is to make the experience relaxed, comfortable, and completely guided from start to finish. My studio is also where I create maternity portraits, family portraits, milestone and cake smash sessions, individual portraits, and more. I love working with studio lighting and creating images that are refined and intentional, while still letting personalities shine through. For maternity sessions, I have more than 50 gowns and dresses available for studio use, ranging from bold and high-fashion to simple and elegant. When the weather cooperates, I also photograph families outdoors throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas, using the beautiful Manitoba landscape and natural light to create something a little more relaxed and playful.
